Manchester Tattoo Tea Party

Well, I managed to find my way to Liverpool this week, and spent three days ensconced in a lovely hotel in the city centre.  Too busy to see much of the city, unfortunately, but I certainly returned to Manchester with some very nice memories.  Oh, and thank you T for those absolutely gorgeous stockings - I will use them as soon as possible for a photo shoot!  I arrived back in Manchester in time for the Tattoo Tea Party at Event City near the Trafford Centre.  There's got to be a very good reason for me to be near the Trafford Centre and not get drawn into Selfridges to browse their impressive shoe selection, but I'm glad to say that the Tattoo Tea Party was such a reason.  I have always refrained from being tattooed, as I do fear that I will change my mind  very quickly and want something else done (and it's an expensive addiction - for me it would never take the place of my shoe addiction!), but I still love the artistry and styles that the scene attracts.  It was a fabulous event, with tattoo artists, clothing, entertainers and even a lovely old merry-go-round.

Well worth the entrance fee.  It was also great to meet up with Jules and Shaz, the organisers of the Heresy N Heelz events, who have a few interesting events of their own in the pipeline - no doubt I'll be making trips around the country for these, too.  So, did I return home from the Tattoo convention with anything colourful and exciting?  Of course I did...
