Silverstone Classic 2014

Sometimes, it seems a little discussion or comment can lead to some very interesting experiences.  A month or so ago I mentioned to a friend that I'd like, someday, to attend the Silverstone Classic, the race circuit's annual homage to the racing cars of yesteryear.  Having been to the Goodwood Revival many times, I thought it would be a nice comparison and a great day out.  I began to make tentative plans to attend this year, when I got a phone call.  Would I like to visit him and his wife in gorgeous Worcestershire, and maybe take a trip to the Silverstone Classic on the Saturday?

It's not an invitation to turn down, so I couldn't wait for the weekend to arrive, all the time keeping my fingers crossed for the weather.  The last time I attended the Goodwood Revival it was cold and wet, which rather dampened the event, so I was hoping to have some good weather for my first visit to the Silverstone Classic.

The day dawned very bright, and by the time we set off at 9.00am it was warming up nicely.  Our trip across country brought us onto the main A43 dual carriageway, about a mile away from the circuit.  The traffic was already jamming the road, but in the cool comfort of an air-conditioned Range Rover it wasn't a bad place to be, especially with so many gorgeous cars caught up in the same traffic jam.  Vintage Porsche 911s, burbling TVRs, a lovely blue Marcos with a rear wing that looked like it had been stolen from a Boeing 747 and came with a suitably roaring soundtrack, Sunbeams... the list went on and on.  We finally arrived at the circuit, and I astonished to find that my host had arranged VIP parking, which benefited from a bus laid on to take us into the circuit itself. Oh, it's the Silverstone Classic, so not just any old bus, of course, but, well, an old bus...

On arrival in the middle of the circuit, we disembarked at the Silverstone Auctions site at the brand new Silverstone Wing.  There were some fabulous cars lined up outside the main building, along with one or two more unusual lots that would be going under the hammer later...

Not sure where I'd store a Harrier jumpjet, but if you've got the money, you've probably got the space...  Inside the main hall, there was plenty of gorgeous things to look at - cars, beautiful luggage, crates of vintage wine and watches.

We spent a fair bit of time in the auction, and it was great to be able to see lots of fantastic cars so close up, all open so that you check out your potential purchase.  A stunning red Ferrari Dino race car caught my eye, but sadly the pennies in the purse were slightly lacking - the guide price was a mere £100,000 to £120,000.  I didn't make a bid.

Back outside the weather had certainly warmed up, and the sun was now beating down.  We began a lazy stroll around the circuit towards the 'village' area, where the food and trade stands were.  There was still plenty to see, and the view across the circuit to the big wheel was quite something, especially with a pair of 1950's sports cars howling past.

It was lunchtime by the time we arrived at the main village area, and there was a huge number of stands selling food and drink.  I was trying to decide what to have when something especially tasty caught my eye that I'd love to have got my tongue and lips around...

Unfortunately, a long-legged blonde in denim shorts didn't seem to be on the menu anywhere, so I made do with a pizza instead.

This year was the 50th birthday of the Ford Mustang, certainly one of the most iconic cars of all time.  There was a static display featuring the cars and the (unrelated) WWII fighter near the food area, while on the track there was a procession of the cars to admire.

The lovely V8 noise was pretty soon drowned out though, as a brace of  P-51 Mustangs took to the air for an aerial display.

As the Mustangs, both cars and planes, headed off track and off to the horizon, the howling screams of old Formula 1 cars took to the air.  I'm not the world's biggest F1 fan by any means, but even for me some of the colour schemes were fantastic and memorable, especially the black and gold JPS Lotus cars.

Nicely refreshed we headed over to the trade stands.  Although there wasn't much in the way of vintage clothing (unlike the Goodwood Revival), however there was still plenty to look at, with cars, motoring memorabilia, fashion and book stands galore.

We headed away from the stalls over to where the old pits are still in use by some the competing teams.  It was another great chance to see some more stunning cars close up, parked up in the bright sun or being prepared for their spell in the arena.  I loved the sextet of Aston Martins that were huddled together, one being prepared for a forth-coming race.  The bark of the exhaust was tremendous, especially when combined with the rather heady scent of unburnt fuel in the air!

Meanwhile, over in the nearby British Racing Driver's Club paddock there were more sights to behold... A trio of immaculate vintage Porsche 911 Carreras RS's stood next to a tiny but muscular Ford GT40, with E-Types, Mustangs and Aston Martins resting quietly in the hot sun.  The 911's looked small in comparison with the nearby Range Rovers and modern cars, but I was amazed at how low and small the GT40 was.  Wonderful.

By late afternoon we were all waning slightly, and suffering ever-so-slightly from sensory overload.  The heat, sounds and sights had left us pretty much drained, so, despite the racing going on into the dusk and bands playing into the night, we decided to head off back to Worcestershire for food and alcohol.  Even walking back to the VIP area there was plenty to see before we reached the carpark.

Even in the VIP carpark there were some staggering cars, a rose pink E-Type...

...and, parked rather diffidently between a modern Range Rover and an Audi hatchback, a rare Jaguar XJ220 supercar.

I must apologise for the huge number of photographs on this post, but it really was just one of those days where everywhere you looked there was something fantastic to see or hear.  However, for me, I have to save the best until last.  Yes, the blue Porsche 911 Carrera RS parked near the GT40 was breath-taking, as was the GT40 itself.  The blue Ford Mustang in the market place was glorious, and the gold Jaguar spotted when we were leaving had truly beautiful lines in the warmth of the late afternoon sun.  However, the one that beat them all was the awesome night-black Dodge Charger, nestled in a line of muscle cars.  Darkness personified in brutal metal.  I saw it arriving, and the throb of it's V8 was like the heartbeat of Satan.  Even stood still, when I saw it later, it looked like it was ready to maim someone just for looking at it.

A brilliant day, made even better by the wine and food that followed.  Great weather, fantastic planes and absolutely stunning cars mixed with tremendous friends.  An unforgettable day, indeed, and definitely a Silverstone Classic to remember.

Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad...

Ah yes, the old Meatloaf classic from the seminal Bat Out Of Hell album.  Which brings me very nicely to recent events in Leeds.  Meatloaf and Leeds, I hear you thinking... that must be a rather tenuous connection.

Well, this weekend saw the annual visit of the old Skin Two North Ball to the city.  I attended the club in September last year at it's previous visit, and whilst I had a great time it could have been more so had I been able to finish what I'd started in the club - namely a spot of cunnilingus on a sexy redhead.  Anyway, I was still very much looking forward to this year's event, as Tim Woodward and his assorted crew always put on a good show.

The Skin Two name has pretty much disappeared, now, and this year's bash came under the banner of KFS North.  "KFS?" I hear you ask.  Kinky Fetish Sex, apparently, and rather more to the point than the old moniker.  I decided to give my new red catsuit from Cathouse Clothing it's premiere in the UK, and matched it with the same red high heels that I'd worn with it in Berlin recently.  It was an early evening start from Manchester, just as the rain came heading over the Pennines.  By 9.30pm our little group were parking up outside the venue (Vox, again, as last year), and with the rain still lightly falling there was a few seconds to grab a couple of photos before heading into the club - hence this week's Picture Of The Week.  A few photos later and the rain began to fall a little heavier, and with a short walk to the venue I had to grab a brolly for cover.  Rain may run straight off shiny latex, but I didn't quite relish the thought of it running down the open top of my catsuit - my breasts would have channelled the cold rain into certain areas of my body that I didn't want it to go!

It was pretty quiet in the club at that time, but we were on the early side.  Thankfully, over the next hour or so it began to fill up, once again with plenty of lovely eye-candy.  A fashion show from Cathouse Clothing was on the bill, and the company had a little stall in the main room where you could buy some of their accessories and outfits.  I went over to chat with the Cathouse team, and saw some lovely latex devil horns that matched my red catsuit, so they were duly purchased and worn for the rest of the night.

As always, there were plenty of old friends that I managed to catch up with and hear the latest news.  I was very saddened to hear of the closure of The Wendy House in Leeds, a venue that I attended quite a few times.  It was an alternative club in the city that was held monthly at the city's University, and in it's heyday had nearly a thousand people attending, usually in great outfits.  With attendances falling, it seems the club organisers decided to pull the plug, and another venue where people could at least wear what they wanted has fallen by the wayside.  Although not a strict fetish event, it was a great place to dress up, dance and flirt.  My best memory is of going along in a latex catsuit and meeting a gorgeous dark-haired girl on the dancefloor, who was wearing a tiny latex minidress.  We danced together for a while before starting to kiss, stoke and fondle each other, both revelling in the feel that only thin skin-tight rubber stretched over female curves can give.  After a while a strange sixth sense kicked in and I disengaged my lips from hers and looked around - nearly the whole club had stood still while they watched us.  It certainly got my exhibitionistic streak going!  The decline of the club seems to mirror that of the fetish scene itself, and makes me wonder, as always, where have all the pervs gone?

With new arrivals still turning up I kept my eye open for more friends arriving, and soon saw a gorgeous dark-haired beauty in a black latex catsuit arrive.  "Mmmm, lovely," I thought, and decided at some point to introduce myself.  I didn't need to.  A couple of minutes later I saw her heading over to me.  "You don't remember me, do you?" she asked.  I tried to place her fabulous body and face in my memory - surely I wouldn't forget her, would I?  She mentioned doing a little photoshoot over a decade ago, and suddenly the memories came back.  The lovely lady in question was in fact the fabulous Nylon Jane, looking as stunning as ever.  We had a brief chat, and I was very pleased to learn that she was now based partly in Leeds.  Hmmm... that's only an hour away at the most.  Lovely!  She's certainly a girl that I wouldn't mind sliding my own nylon stocking-clad legs over!

By 2.30am I was getting a little tired, and sadly it was time to head back onto the M62 and head west for Manchester.  Another enjoyable night, but what about Meatloaf?  Well... Kinky... yes,  Fetish... yes...  Sex... sadly not this time.  As the song says... Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad.

A Quick Snapshot...

It's been a couple of weeks since my return from Berlin, and I've managed to settle back into daily life in Manchester and Altrincham... so time for a quick update.

Firstly, on my first weekend back from Germany I was once again heading south for yet another visit to Ess & Emm, the dungeon B&B in pretty Warwickshire.  A very lovely male/female couple whose company I've enjoyed before arranged for me to visit them again for a couple of hours during their overnight stay at the Bed and Breakfast.  It's the second time I've been to Ess & Emm 'on business', and as well as enjoying myself thoroughly with so many toys and wonderful apparatus to play with (along with some willing participants), the visit also gave me an opportunity for a couple of photos in the garden before I joined them in S&M heaven - one of which is this week's Picture Of The Week.  Here's another, just to show my lovely leather outfit... which in truth didn't stay on too long once my little session got under way in the dungeon and bedroom...

Last Sunday saw me once again slipping into a barely-there outfit for another early-morning photoshoot.  However, on this occasion I wasn't planning on heading into the wilds of, er, Cheshire, but the suburbs of Manchester.  I'm not a golfing fan, but a comment overheard about the up-and-coming British Open Golf Championship made me think of a theme centred around golf - after all, I'm sort of in the business of holes, balls, woods and shafts.  And so, with the time approaching 5.30am on Sunday morning I arrived at my first choice of golf course in order to sneak on, disrobe and snap a couple of quick photographs.  No such luck - no sooner had I set foot onto the dewy grass than a security man appeared in the distance, heading towards me.  It was a casual but hasty stroll back to the car to make a quick getaway.  I directed my driver to the second choice of golf courses, now on the very southern edges of Manchester.  A quick check on arrival - yes, a deserted golf course.  I was just about to tell the driver where to stop when I caught movement out of the corner of my eye - a Chinese man in the middle of his Tai Chi routine, at 6.00am in the morning in the bloody middle of a golf course!  We abandoned the plan and headed off for the next destination.  The third attempt was also disastrous, as the golf course appeared to be in the middle of a building site, and so, with time running out, it had to be a quick stop off at a nearby park to take the required photos.  Yes, there's plenty of greenery, but it's not quite what I was after - nevertheless, I'm hoping to have a Picture Of The Week ready in time for the aforementioned tournament in a couple of weeks' time.  At least I got a good hard shaft in my leather-gloved hands and managed to get some balls dirty.

I've also been busy having a new set of photographs taken in my little boudoir for my Adultwork Private Gallery which will get put up over the next week or two and, again, for some Picture Of The Week shots.

I've got a few more things to look forward to this month, so I'm looking forward to more blog updates shortly!
