Decadence and Style - Cirque, Manchester

This week I am very pleased to report that Manchester finally has a proper 'alternative' venue at last.

Yes, the indomitable Cheryl Smith and her team who created the fantastic Sexhibition event have turned their attentions to the city, and have taken over the role of marketing the Cirque club on the northern edge of the city centre.

The weekend of the 17th September saw the club's relaunch, and I made sure I was on guest-list as early as possible.  I also made sure I was there bright and early, in a see-through lace dress and my fabulously fetishistic Alexander McQueen shoes.

Even though I thought I was early, there were already people sat inside the rather decadently-furnished club.  I immediately bumped into friends, including one of the wonderful ladies from Kiku.  It was great to hear that Sexhibition had been very successful for the small but talented team.

The club inside was lovely - black Chesterfield sofas providing comfortable seating in order to indulge in the club's cocktails.

As the evening wore on many more friends turned up, and I began to feel that Cirque was going to be a bit of a home-from-home.  There were some burlesque acts featuring on the small but fabulously intimate stage.  I made sure that I saw the performances of the gorgeous and totally lovely Cherie Bebe.  The fact that she has legs that go all the way up to Heaven and the most perfect bottom made it especially pleasurable...

I also managed, at one point, to find myself chatting to three gorgeous girls, the tallest of whom was especially sexy and had curves to die for.  It wasn't long before I found a reason to grope her fabulous boobs that were nearly escaping from her bra, before soon finding another reason to bury my head in-between them.  I later found out that the lovely lady in question, Bella Rose, is in the process of setting up her own website to sell adult toys and sexy clothing - I hope I've qualified for a discount already once it is up and running...

At one point I was chatting with a group of friends when we were approached by a magician.  He produced a lollipop for me from a tiny piece of burning paper (that was always going to win me over - free sweets!), then proceeded to amaze up with incredible card tricks and coin tricks.  At one point he put a stack of playing cards in our hands.  With all four of us clasping the cards between all our hands he said he was going to make them disappear.  I could feel the stack of cards digging into my palm and pressed down harder, think "There's no way he's going to get these...".  He suddenly produced the pack from his pocket and we opened our hands to reveal a few lumps of card-shaped plastic.  I was ever so slightly amazed!

The very friendly crowd meant that I spent a wonderful evening meeting old friends and very probably making new ones, and with Cirque already planning many more events for the remainder of the year I think it is safe to say I will be back.
