A Bunch Of...

Hmmm.  So our beloved government has decided to take the role of parental guardian upon itself (again) and decided, in its never-beginning wisdom, to attempt to get another censorship law through parliament.  The Digital Economy Bill is principally aimed at video products, but there is much doubt that it will end there.

The aim, of course is to PROTECT THE CHILDREN!  Or, that is the banner under which it is promoted as being a positive step for society.  Of course we can all see the lies here.  The government has little interest in protecting the children but a much more vested interest in starting to monitor what adults can read and view online.

I would assume that most readers of my blog have at least a passing interest in themes of a sexual and adult nature.  In that case, please take time to read this blog - it is far more eloquent than I can be on the subject, and shows the massive flaws in the Bill.

There is, importantly, a petition to stop the law - again, I would ask that anyone who can sign this does.  It is vital for us all that any attempts to increase censorship of the written word and what adults can view online is stopped at this hurdle.

In the meantime, I've created my little 'Flower Of Freedom' just for this occasion - click the image for a super-sized version.

Dexi Delite Manchester and Cheshire Escort - self-portrait.
My little self-portrait not only represents things that may well disappear if the government get their way, but also symbolises our over-bearing, prudish and retrogressive government.

Yep.  It's a bunch of cunts.
